I cannot recommend Anthony enough. He came a year ago to service my boiler. Having recently moved into the house it was really old but I was hoping not to have to replace it and Anthony came out and fixed all the issues for me.This year I suspected it might need replacing and again contacted Anthony. Anthony, the plumber, was nothing but professional in all aspects of choosing, installation and explanation of the new boiler. He quoted a fare price for all work and once agreed he was prompt with starting the installation. There was no delay and within a couple of days we had hot water and hot radiators with a minimum of fuss and disruption.I would have no hesitation in recommending Anthony for any domestic plumbing work on the first hand evidence working for me.

Yes. Anthony is Gas Safe registered, which is a legal requirement for anyone carrying out gas work in the UK. You are welcome to ask to see his Gas Safe ID card at any time, and every boiler installation is completed to the required safety standards.

How long have you been in the trade?

Anthony started in plumbing at 17 on an apprenticeship in Burnley and has worked in the trade ever since. He gained his gas qualifications, worked for a well-known Preston heating firm, and has been running his own business since 2020.

How much does a new boiler cost?

The exact price depends on the boiler you choose and the work involved. Anthony will survey your system and give you a clear, fixed quote before any work begins.

How long will it take and do you offer a chemical flush?

Typically one to two days, and yes, we offer a free chemical flush of the system with every installation. The flush clears out sludge and debris so your new boiler runs cleanly and efficiently, and it helps protect the boiler and your warranty for years to come.

What boiler brands do you install?

Anthony installs all the major boiler brands, including Worcester Bosch, Baxi, Viessmann, Vaillant and Ideal. He will talk you through the best option for your home, your heating needs, and your budget, rather than pushing a particular brand on you.

Do you remove the old boiler?

Yes. Removing and safely disposing of your old boiler is included as part of the installation. Anthony handles everything, from disconnecting the old unit to taking it away, so you do not need to arrange anything separately, and the work area is left clean and tidy.

Is there a warranty on a new boiler?

Yes. Every new boiler we install comes with a manufacturer-backed warranty, typically covering parts and labour for between 5 and 12 years depending on the brand and model. Anthony registers the warranty on your behalf and explains exactly what it covers.

Can you help me choose the right boiler?

Absolutely. Choosing the right size and type of boiler makes a real difference to how well your home heats and how much you spend on energy. Anthony will look at your home, how you use hot water and heating, and recommend the boiler that genuinely suits you, then explain why in plain English.

Do you fit complete bathrooms?

Yes. Anthony fits complete bathrooms across Preston and Lancashire, from taking out the old suite through to plumbing in and finishing the new one, including showers, baths, basins and WCs.

How much does a new bathroom cost?

Bathrooms vary far too much to quote a standard price, as it depends on the size of the room, the suite you choose and how much needs moving. Anthony will come out, look at the space and give you a clear fixed price for free.

Do you remove the old bathroom?

Yes. Removing and disposing of your old suite is part of the job, and the work area is left clean and tidy when we finish.

Do you handle the tiling and electrics?

Anthony handles all the plumbing, and works alongside trusted local trades for tiling and electrical work where a job needs it, so you only have one person to deal with.

Can you replace just one radiator?

Yes. Whether it is a single radiator or every radiator in the house, Anthony can supply and fit them, and will tell you honestly whether a replacement is actually worth doing.

My radiators are cold at the bottom, what does that mean?

That usually points to sludge building up in the system. Anthony can look at it and advise whether a flush will sort it, rather than just fitting new radiators onto a dirty system.

Do you work on the whole central heating system?

Yes. Because Anthony is Gas Safe registered and installs boilers day to day, he can look at the heating system as a whole rather than just one part of it.
